A small graphic design business, very much like our own business Canz Design. SEO in Action Case Study Two First we'll have a look a small website. This site has 8 pages, the pages had basic seo work done on them when the site was first built and had been chugging along, gradually picking up visitors at the rate of about 100 new visitors a month, per year. For your easy reference these are the average number of visitors per month of that year. Now to be fair there is only three months recorded for the first year 2005, so the total for the year could have been higher. But really the visitors weren't increasing much at all.
Just before the Christmas Period of 2006 I was approached by the owner of the website a website similar to our own canzdesign.com, the owner and asked if I could do anything to increase the organic traffic to their website(organic traffic means traffic that will still keep coming after I stop doing the SEO work. EG. Not like Google Adwords). He went on to say, that although the site was generating some sales, he would like to increase them by at least 2000%. This site sold websites and hosting.
Back in December 06 the site was only being found in search engines for 77 different keyphrases in October 07 that has risen to 731 different keyphrases. An Investment of only $150 per month($1500 Total) and this site is receiving 4727 more Visitors each month, after only 10 months! The clients were very happy with our contract, and have now decided that the work the are reciving is as much as they could handle.
