A site selling Breastfeeding Lingerie and Products hired SEObyCANZ of CANZ Design in late August 2008 as an SEO consultant; since the owner wanted to retain control of her own website.
She had already worked hard on her own SEO but had reached a plateau with the number of people finding her site in search engines; averaging of around 6000 visitors a month mostly from New Zealand where the business is based.
The SEO plan for this site was to get more visitors, worldwide, and to (of course) have these visitors wanting to buy products once they were there. Visitors to the website have gone 6203 up to an average of 17392 per month Sales increase an average of 230% per month over the past 3 months. Investment in SEO, almost $3000 over 8 months has resulted profits from sales each month, being more than total investment in SEO within 5 months.
Visitors now coming to site and making regular purchases from over 22 countries around the world.

This client had had a website for 3 years and never had any new patients that found him through the website, CANZ Design web design rebuilt the site, making it look professional, more content was added under advice by SEObyCANZ SEO Guru, the site isn’t yet finished, as we are still waiting for more page content as well as additional before and after photos.
The SEO plan for this website was to get clients visiting the site for the procedures that had the largest return for the dentist, and procedures he most enjoyed doing. We also decided that only local searches were desired, as someone from even one state away was not likely to become a patient.
Started SEO in mid Jan 09, by end of Feb, he had 2 new patients, and the end of March, 14 more new patients, so 16 new patients over 2 months. Once again, the total investment in SEO has been paid in profits and there’s still 10 months of SEO services to go!
These results were particularly amazing since the site only received 404 visitors in March 09, so 4% of visitors became new patients in the second full month of SEO services provided by SEObyCANZ.

A Gift box Website in New Zealand an Os-commerce Website
This site did not have anyone visit the website via search engines at all. The site owner had built up a good business making gift baskets for corporate clients in Auckland.
The SEO plan for this website was to at first get the site ranking well in search engines, especially google.co.nz then google.com. I started work on the 6th September 07, Within a few days, the site was appearing highly search engines both google.co.nz and google.com for hundreds of products the site sold, within 6 months the owner was able to sell the business and website something she could not have done with the site working the way it was.
Although visitors visiting through search engines only ever reached just over unique 2800 per month by June 2008 the following year, when the site and business was sold, these new visitors to the site were there credit cards in hand and did spend big-time.
Total SEO investment for 9 months was returned in profits from website visitors via search engines, within 3 1/2 months before site closed for Christmas break.

An Os-commerce – E-commerce website:
This website had been online for approx 3 years without a single sale and was getting approximately 50 visitors a month.
The site was given a makeover by the Design Team at CANZ Design; the site was moved to their SEO friendly CMS (version 2004) which had an extremely easy PayPal checkout. The client paid for the website re-design and SEO that I would do for the site over the next 2 years, from profits made with-in the first 6 months!
In December 2008 over 2 years after I finished doing SEO on the site the unique visitors are still averaging between 10,000 and 11,500 visitors per month.
No other form of advertising still works a year after you stop using it.
We worked out the other day that the site has sold at least 600 gemstones, rough, facetted, and rings at prices ranging from $30 to $2500, average price around $85. Some sales had been made offline, but usually to people that first saw the item for sale on the site.

SEO’s and Graphic Designers Websites:
I can’t talk about the results of SEO without talking about both CANZ Design & SEObyCANZ websites. Although I can’t work out the ROI on them, as they were a labor of love. If I’m to be very, very honest, these sites have received very little SEO on them, as I was practically free to do whatever I liked with them. They are still both attractive sites, the web designer at CANZ Design made sure of that, but I could do pretty much what I liked with them…. Well almost 
I have been working on the CANZ Design website since it went online in 2001. It now looks after itself pretty much, I have automated both the Canzdesign.com and SEObyCANZ.com sites to such an extent, that I only spend about an hour once a month, if that, doing SEO between them, tweaking the keywords as the market changes, and occasionally doing directory submissions.
We now get a steady stream of inquiries for work from both sites weekly, with approximately 1 in 10 enquiries turning into real jobs. Far better than most SEO or web design websites on the internet.
